Another One Bites the Dust🇬🇧🇳🇱
Dear followers,
It’s been a while since I started writing these posts about the Philosophy of Balance, as well as the book behind it. I still have my intention to eventually publish the book as well, but I’ve been noticing for a while now that I’m absolutely not in a rush to do so.
That’s fine, I suppose. As an author, I also consider what genre my book would fall into, and this one would fall squarely within the self-help category. And as is the case with books in this genre, they always beg the question, is the author trying to help their readers or themselves?
I noticed the answer is both. As I’ve been writing this book, it taught me a lot about myself, it unblocked the writer’s block that prevented me from publishing the novel I finally managed to publish last week, and it helped me to work through some trauma from my own past.
But here’s the thing, I do believe I was sincere in my intention that the Philosophy of Balance shouldn’t be only about me. It is very much about helping others too. But I do find it difficult to continue this blog without making it about me, unless people reach out, maybe with some stories that inspire them or stories about things they struggle(d) with.
I already opened my Substack chat so that others can easily reach out. And of course those with a Mastodon account can too, right under these posts.
I’m very thankful for those who have already reached out in private, but it is my hope that you might reach out too.
After all, Balance is something we create together.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Love, Arend.
